Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa L., or Cimicifuga racemosa L.) belongs to the buttercup family. Black cohosh rhizome contains numerous substances with beneficial health effects, primarily compounds with estrogenic activity. It is used to relieve symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flashes and night sweats.
Recommended daily intake:
