Fars is part of the Oud Stars collection, inspired by the ancient Arabic art of perfume creation based on precious, noble ingredients such as oud. Oud Stars combines oriental tradition with the classic Italian approach characteristic of Xerjoff, following in the footsteps of one of the greatest medieval travelers, Muhammad Ibn Battuta. Each composition in the collection is named after a city visited by the intrepid explorer and described in his travel journal.

Fars opens with a sharp, refreshing blend of aromatic lavender and juicy, tart bergamot, whose vibrant notes are emphasized by resinous, balsamic juniper. As it develops, a mix of green notes appears on the skin – bitter geranium and dry cedar, softened and sweetened by sensual, creamy jasmine. The base is dominated by salty amber and warm sandalwood, whose soft, carnal overtones are sharpened by herbal cypriol and bitter, green vetiver. A dry note of patchouli perfectly balances the sweetness, adding an intriguing, cool, slightly earthy accent.
