The innovative BLIZNASIL silicone patches are designed for the treatment of all types of scars, with particular emphasis on cesarean section scars. They utilize the scientifically proven properties of medical silicone, considered the most effective ingredient in scar treatment. They restore the natural barrier of healthy skin. Regular use reduces the visibility and size of scars and evens out their color. They make scars more elastic and relieve the feeling of tightness and itching.
Additionally, BLIZNASIL patches, covered with a silky, flexible material, ensure a perfect fit to the body surface, allowing the skin to breathe while protecting the delicate scar from possible irritation and abrasion caused by clothing. Additionally, the flesh-colored material prevents the patch from rolling and peeling, ensuring comfort and discreet use.
The patches are sized for long scars, especially after a cesarean section, but each patch can be cut to fit a smaller scar. The patch should be cut before peeling off the protective film, remembering to leave at least 5 mm of excess from the edge of the scar to the end of the patch. For very extensive or long scars, individual patches or their fragments can be combined by placing them side by side.
BLIZNASIL patches can be used on both new scars (up to 6 months old) and mature scars (even 10 years after their formation), although treatment for new scars is usually shorter – 1 to 2 months. Treatment for mature scars can take up to 6 months.
BLIZNASIL patches can be used on any scar, regardless of how or when it formed. BLIZNASIL patches are intended for the treatment of the following types of scars:
- Caesarean section scars
- Surgical scars
- Plastic surgery scars
- Laser surgery scars
- Traumatic scars
- Burn scars
- Hypertrophic scars
- Keloids
BLIZNASIL patches are gentle and safe, so they can be used on adults (including those prone to allergies) and children of all ages.
One patch can be used for 14 days.
Usage:
- Wash and dry the treated scar. Do not apply moisturizers or oils to the scar area to avoid reducing the patch's adhesiveness. Remove the protective film from the patch and apply it directly to the scar.
- The patch should remain on the skin for at least 12 hours a day. Remove the patch at least once a day to wash the scar with soap without moisturizers.
- When washing the scar or taking a break in treatment, place the patch on the pad included in the package, sticky side down.
- BLIZNASIL patches are self-adhesive, but when used around joints (especially the knee, elbow, and shoulder), you can additionally use a medical plaster to ensure proper adhesion of the BLIZNASIL patch to the scar and prevent it from coming off.
