What is Viscoplast Cotton Wool?
Viscoplast Cotton Wool is a product made of a combination of cotton and viscose fibers. It is used to clean abrasions, injuries and areas prepared for injection after being soaked in a liquid disinfectant.
Application:
- Viscoplast cotton wool is used as an absorbent material for medical and cosmetic purposes;
- as a base for plaster casts;
- as compresses.
Usage:
- use with a sterile dressing;
Properties:
- this cotton wool is class I according to the MDR and consists of high-quality new fibers;
- the color of the cotton wool is white or ecru, and it also has a very high absorption capacity;
- the product consists of a mixture of carefully cleaned, bleached and thoroughly wiped cotton and viscose fibers in a 50/50% ratio (with a tolerance of +/- 10%). P
Warnings:
- because it is a non-sterile product, it cannot be applied directly to wounds;
- it is necessary to use a sterile dressing directly on the wound.
