What is Viridian Synerbio Saccharomyces Boulardii?
Viridian Synerbio Saccharomyces Boulardii is a dietary supplement in capsules that acts as a probiotic. Saccharomyces boulardii is one of the greatest successes in the history of probiotics. This strain of non-pathogenic yeast was discovered by French microbiologist Henri Boulardii in 1920 in the skin of lychee fruit.
It is considered an ideal synbiotic during antibiotic treatment, as well as when traveling abroad. Viridian's Saccharomyces boulardii synbiotic additionally contains five strains of beneficial Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria bacteria, plus prebiotics.
The unique prebiotic FS2-60 offers a full spectrum of plant-based prebiotic oligosaccharides and inulin. FS2-60 is not digested but is utilized by the gut, increasing the colonization of beneficial Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria strains while reducing unfriendly species.
