Product Description
What does V Canto Arsenico unisex perfume smell like?
V Canto is a brand inspired by the "Divine Comedy," a timeless epic about love, hatred, virtue, and vice that are part of human nature. Paolo and Tiziana Terenzi have created five fragrance lines: Blu, Rossa, Verde, Foglie d'Amore, and Anime del Castello, each telling a distinct story.
Arsenico belongs to the Verde collection—deadly concoctions with deceptively sweet flavors, housed in dark green bottles. The series is inspired by Lucrezia Borgia, who transformed poison into the most lethal weapon in the arsenal of a dangerously ruthless woman. Arsenic, called the "king of poisons," is a venomous, sweet-and-sour elixir full of contradictions, impossible to resist.
Top notes: apple, pineapple, red currant, bergamot
Heart notes: cedar, patchouli, birch, cypriol, jasmine, tonka bean, benzoin
Base notes: oakmoss, musk, amber
Arsenico opens with a sparkling citrus accord dominated by aromatic, tart bergamot. It is soon joined by a stunningly juicy and explosively fresh combination of crunchy apple, exotic pineapple, and red currant, which adds a tart, greenish accent. As the fragrance develops on the skin, this seemingly innocent, joyful fruity blend reveals a dissonance that portends danger in the form of a seductive, earthy, leathery, and smoky note, created by cedar, birch, and patchouli. Seductive, narcotic jasmine and vanilla tonka bean create a thick, creamy sweetness that sits perfectly on a warm, resinous amber-musky base. A rough, coarse note of moss vibrates in the background with a cool, earthy mist, which makes it impossible to forget that we are dealing with the perfect poison.
