URGO Insect Bites is a medical device intended for use on the skin in the event of insect bites such as mosquitoes, wasps, horse flies, spiders, itch mites, bees, and ants. After application, the product creates a transparent, flexible, and waterproof dressing. The product is suitable for adults and children from 1 year of age.
Indications for use of URGO Filmogel liquid dressing for insect bites:
- The liquid dressing is applied after insect bites.
- The liquid dressing is indicated for insect bites such as mosquitoes, wasps, horseflies, spiders, itch mites, bees, and ants.
- The medical device can be used from the age of 1.
Effects of the Filmogel liquid dressing:
- The liquid dressing combines an innovative protective formula - Filmogel Technology with soothing properties.
- After application, the product creates a transparent, flexible, and waterproof dressing.
- The liquid dressing protects and prevents scratching.
- The medical device relieves itching.
Instructions for use:
- In case of a sting, gently remove the sting.
- Before applying the product, clean, disinfect, wash and dry the bite site.
- Then cover the bitten area evenly - to do this, apply and spread the liquid using a spatula.
- A burning sensation may occur during use.
- Leave the preparation to dry for a few seconds.
- The liquid dressing should be used as often as necessary (2-3 times a day).
- During subsequent use, there is no need to remove the previous layer of the dressing.
- Do not use for longer than 8 days without consulting a doctor.
- Close the packaging tightly after each use.
- The product should be used within 6 months of first opening.
Storage conditions:
- The medical device should be stored out of the reach of children. small children,
- the preparation should be stored at a temperature below 25°C,
- protect from light and moisture,
- keep in a tightly closed container,
- close the container tightly after each use,
- use the product within 6 months of first opening.
Warnings and precautions:
- this is a medical device, use it in accordance with the instructions for use or the label,
do not use in case of allergy to any of the product's ingredients,
do not use in children under 1 year of age,
the product should not be applied to the affected area due to dermatological diseases, fungal lesions, infected or oozing wounds,
- the product should not be applied to the mucous membrane (especially the mouth) and near the eyes,
- seek medical advice Pharmacist advice: in case of repeated bites, especially in children and if the itching is not caused by insect bites,
- use only on the skin,
- do not swallow,
- the product is irritating to the eyes,
- due to the lack of studies, the use of the product by pregnant and breastfeeding women is not recommended,
- do not use for longer than 8 days without seeking medical advice,
- do not smoke during use, before the application site is completely dry and with the bottle open,
do not use after the expiry date stated on the individual packaging.
