Product Description

URGO Burns and Superficial Wounds Waterproof Dressing 4 pcs.

Urgo plasters for burns and superficial wounds contain a lipid-colloid mesh that quickly relieves pain, accelerates healing, and enables painless removal of the dressing because it does not stick to the wound. When the gauze comes into contact with wound exudate, a lipid-colloid gel forms, creating the right conditions for wound healing in a moist environment. The dressing is equipped with a non-stick, air-permeable gauze, which consists of a polyester mesh saturated with hydrocolloid particles and petrolatum. The dressing is exceptionally soft and comfortable. Importantly, it adapts to the body's movements.

Usage:

Second-degree superficial burns:
Cool the wound with cold water for 15 minutes to prevent the burn from spreading.
In all cases: Clean the wound with an alcohol-free antiseptic solution. Never use colored antiseptic solutions, such as eosin, on a burn. Dry thoroughly using a sterile compress. If possible, ensure that any blister that forms does not burst, as this protects the wound from infection. If the blister bursts, disinfect the wound. Tear off the protective film. Apply to the wound. Applying cream before applying a dressing is unnecessary. The healing process usually takes 5 to 6 days, with the first dressing changing after 24 hours and subsequent dressings every 48 hours.

Notes:

- Do not use on deep second-degree burns, third-degree burns, or facial burns.
- Reusing a single-use dressing may cause infection.
- Store in a dry place out of the sight of children.
