ThermaCare Warming Compresses for Neck, Shoulders and Wrists
ThermaCare is a medical device in the form of warming compresses for the neck, shoulders and wrists. They relieve pain for up to 16 hours - 8 hours while wearing and up to 8 hours after removing the compress. The heat penetrates deeply and relaxes tense muscles. The compresses help improve mobility.
Application:
- Relief of muscle and/or joint pain associated with overexertion, strains, sprains, and arthritis.
Contraindications:
- Do not use the compress: on diseased, irritated, or damaged skin; on bruises or swelling that have occurred within the last 48 hours; on areas of the body with impaired temperature sensation.
- Do not use the compress if you notice leakage of heat cell contents or if the compress is damaged or torn.
- Do not use concurrently with topical medications (on the skin) or other heat-emitting products (e.g. heating pads, patches, etc.).
- The compress should not be used on people who are unable to follow all the instructions for its use or on people who are unable to remove the compress themselves (including children, infants and some elderly people).
