Tantum Rosa Intimate Hygiene Douche
The Tantum Rosa intimate hygiene douche with an applicator is used for vaginal irrigation. This convenient, reusable 500 ml container is helpful in the local application of vaginal solutions. Regular vaginal hygiene helps maintain the proper composition of the vaginal bacterial flora and can appropriately complement the doctor's recommended treatment of inflammation of the female genital organs caused by intimate infections, mechanical irritation, or for pre- and post-operative prophylaxis in gynecology.
Package contents: 1 plastic container with a stopper and an applicator. Irrigator with a capacity of 500 ml.
Instructions for use:
1. Prepare the douche using water at body temperature.
2. Fill the reservoir with 500 ml of the prepared solution.
3. Screw the irrigator tip (applicator) onto the reservoir.
4. Carefully insert the irrigator tip (applicator) into the vagina, as deeply as possible.
5. Hold the reservoir with both hands, placing your thumbs on the cap at the irrigator tip (applicator).
6. Press the reservoir until it is empty.
7. If possible, irrigate while lying down, preferably in an empty bathtub, or while standing up – e.g., in the shower. For safety and comfort, it is recommended to irrigate in a safe and stable position, optionally using a non-slip insert. You can also irrigate while sitting – on a bidet or toilet.
8. Gently remove the irrigator tip (applicator) from the vagina, preventing the reservoir from expanding so as not to suck vaginal secretions into the reservoir.
9. Unscrew the irrigator tip (applicator) from the reservoir.
10. Wash both parts in warm water (up to 40°C) and set aside to dry.
The Tantum Rosa douche is safe, made of flexible and smooth plastic.
The douche can be used multiple times.
The douche is intended for use by one woman.
The vaginal douche is intended for individual use.
Warnings and precautions
- No part of the douche should be washed in a dishwasher!
- Do not sterilize.
- Do not heat above 40°C.
- Do not use corrosive disinfectants.
- Do not use solutions with irritants or surfactants (detergents).
- Women who have not started sexual activity should not use the douche, as its use may cause rupture of the hymen.
