Product Description
SutriSept - Wound Fluid
SutriSept is a wound fluid, registered as a medical device. It is a new-generation preparation for antiseptic cleansing and washing of wounds and first- and second-degree burns. SutriSept painlessly cleanses wounds and burns, prevents wound infection, and accelerates healing. It is intended for cleansing and moisturizing infected and non-infected wounds. It contains the only combination of 0.1% PHMB (Polyhexanide) and Poloxamer 188, a non-ionic surfactant that supports wound healing. It is also suitable for antiseptic cleansing, softening and removal of dried and adherent dressing materials without causing secondary trauma.
Applications:
- Infected and non-infected acute wounds (e.g., traumatic wounds resulting from cuts, tears, abrasions, crushing, bites, stings, etc., surgical wounds),
- Infected and non-infected chronic wounds (e.g., diabetic foot ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, etc.),
- Infected and non-infected wounds resulting from thermal or chemical factors (e.g., 1st and 2nd degree burns, chemical burns, etc.),
- Wounds caused by electrical current,
- Radiation wounds,
- Catheter insertion sites urological,
- Skin care around the stoma, care of fistulas and abscesses.
How to use:
- Before applying the dressing:
- The entire wound and its surroundings should be cleaned with SutriSept® Wound Fluid.
- Wounds with deep and extensive necrotic tissue should be washed for 10 to 15 minutes using a fully soaked compress (by applying a wet dressing).
- The application should be repeated depending on the condition of the wound, without any time limits.
- The fluid should not be diluted! The SutriSept® w Gel Hydrogel wound dressing can be applied to the cleansed wound.
- Bandage the wound appropriately. - After applying the dressing:
- Thoroughly soak dressings and bandages adhering to the wound surface using SutriSept® w Solution Wound Liquid, wait approximately 5-10 minutes until they soften, and then carefully remove them from the wound.
- Soaking the dressing materials with SutriSept® w Solution prevents them from sticking to the wound surface and makes changing the dressing much easier.
- SutriSept® w Solution Wound Liquid is compatible with all wound dressings. - For deeper and larger wounds, the wound surface is first washed with SutriSept® w Solution Wound Liquid and then filled with SutriSept® w Gel Hydrogel wound dressing. For smaller wounds, it is enough to use only SutriSept® in Solution Wound Liquid.
