Solgar Spirulina 750 mg 80 Capsules
Spirulina is the common name for several species of simple, photosynthetic bacteria belonging to the phylum cyanobacteria (Latin: Cyanobacteria). They are used in dietary supplements due to their content of macro- and micronutrients. Solgar Spirulina 750 mg uses the Arthrospira platensis species, which is certified organic by the European Union.
60-70% of spirulina's dry weight is protein, containing a full range of essential amino acids. In addition to protein, spirulina also contains lipids (5-10% of dry weight), the most important of which are γ-linolenic, linoleic, and oleic acids. It also contains nucleic acids, vitamins (mainly B12), carotenoids, and minerals (iron, calcium, phosphorus).
Spirulina supports weight management, intestinal activity, supports immune system function, helps with fatigue, adds energy and vitality, and helps maintain healthy glucose levels.
