PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Solgar Ester-C Plus is a preparation containing vitamin C with antioxidant properties (30 tablets). Each tablet contains 1000 mg of vitamin C in the form of Ester-C®. This is a special form of vitamin C, soluble in both water and fat. The preparation also contains citrus bioflavonoids, rosehip, rutin, and acerola. Ester-C® is patented and contains active metabolites of vitamin C (L-threonic, L-lyxonic, and L-xylonic acids). Research shows that Ester-C® is better tolerated by the human body than L-ascorbic acid.
Furthermore, it is almost twice (189%) better absorbed by the cells of the human immune system – T lymphocytes – than another popular form of vitamin C – calcium ascorbate.
Ester-C® 1000 mg vitamin C tablets from Solgar have a neutral pH of 6.7 (vitamin C is buffered with calcium). This form of vitamin C is friendly to the digestive tract, even in larger doses. The product is hypoallergenic and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Bulking agents: cellulose, cellulose gum, calcium phosphates, hydroxypropyl cellulose; anti-caking agents: silicon dioxide, (vegetable) fatty acids, magnesium salts of (vegetable) fatty acids; glazing agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerol (vegetable). DOSAGE
Recommended daily portion: adults, one (1) tablet daily, preferably with a meal or as directed by a physician.
