Solgar Intestinal Flora
Solgar Intestinal Flora is a probiotic that supports the immune system in capsules. Our preparation represents the latest advances in production technology and the biochemistry of probiotic supplements.
The bacterial strains offered by Solgar are live. All strains are made from the first passage.
- The bacterial strains used by Solgar are resistant to high levels of stomach acidity, but for additional protection, the products in this series are encapsulated in microcapsules with a polysaccharide matrix, which increases their survival in the digestive tract.
- The capsule dissolves very quickly, and the polysaccharide gel in the capsule creates a protective matrix around the bacteria. This gel is resistant to stomach acid and dissolves only in the less acidic environment of the duodenum, where the bacteria are released to fulfill their function in the digestive tract.
The new strains were tested in an acidic environment similar to the stomach and were found to survive for two hours.
Unlike regular probiotics, they can therefore be taken with a meal.
DOSAGE
Recommended daily dose: Adults: one (1) to two (2) capsules daily, preferably with a meal or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplement is not a substitute for a varied diet.

- B. lactis, BB-12 – live bacterial cultures stimulate the immune system, prevent diarrhea, tightly adhere to the intestinal wall, and are resistant to hydrochloric acid in the stomach and bile.
- B. acidophilus, LA-5 – effectively protects the intestinal mucosa, is resistant to gastric acid and bile. Tightly adheres to the intestinal wall, prevents post-antibiotic diarrhea in infants and travelers. Effective in all age groups.
- L. paracasei, L. CASEI 431 – increases the body's immunity by stimulating the production of IgA immunoglobulins, protects against infections of the oral cavity, respiratory tract, and digestive system.
- L. rhamnosus GG, LGG – effectively rebuilds damaged intestinal flora, one of the most well-studied probiotics with proven healing and protective effects.
- S. thermophilus, TH-4TM – strengthens immunity, improves the digestive system, regulates intestinal peristalsis, prevents diarrhea, reduces inflammation.
