Sofargen Gel, Gel for wounds and burns, 25 g
Sofargen Gel is a gel-based dressing with silver sulfadiazine, intended for use on small wounds and burns.
Sofargen Gel - what you should know about it:
- Contains 1% silver sulfadiazine
- Supports tissue regeneration,
- Facilitates wound cleansing of necrotic lesions,
- Thanks to its high water content (over 95%), it ensures proper wound hydration,
- Creates conditions conducive to natural healing processes,
- Provides effective protection against bacteria,
- Remains at the site of application and does not become displaced,
- It can be easily removed by rinsing the wound saline solution,
- Available without a prescription.
When to use Sofargen Gel:
- for the local treatment of skin injuries such as abrasions, scratches, cuts, burns, dry wounds, necrotic lesions, fissured wounds, postoperative wounds, skin irritations (e.g., caused by diapers), insect bites, and other dermatological problems;
- to maintain proper wound moisture and prevent infection;
- as a cleansing agent to remove necrotic tissue and clots.
Sofargen Gel - how to use?
After properly cleansing the affected skin surface, apply an even 2-3 mm layer of gel. You can also spread the gel on sterile gauze and then apply it to the skin. It can be used on polyurethane and semi-occlusive dressings as a cleansing agent. Apply 1 or 2 times daily until the wound is completely healed. Before each application, clean the wound of any remaining gel with saline or water.

When using the gel, temporary burning sensations, irritation, or rare local allergic reactions may occur. If adverse reactions occur, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
