What ingredients are contained in the exfoliating serum with 20% AHA + PHA?
- Glycolic acid: Glycolic acid (naturally found in sugar cane) was introduced as a therapeutic and cosmetic agent a quarter of a century ago. In addition to moisturizing and cleansing the skin (e.g., acne-prone skin), it provides a superficial exfoliation effect. Repeated use of glycolic acid has a very beneficial effect on the dermis, increasing its thickness by approximately 25% without causing inflammation. Long-term use (6 months or longer) of preparations containing glycolic acid rebuilds elastic fibers and improves skin elasticity. Simultaneously, increased production of collagen fibers and mucopolysaccharides is observed, leading to wrinkle reduction and long-term improvement in the biological and elastic properties of the skin. PHA acids have properties similar to AHA and BHA acids – they exhibit exfoliating properties. Their relatively large molecules prevent them from quickly penetrating deeper layers of the skin. Therefore, the exfoliating effect of PHA acids is gentler and does not cause irritation. Unlike AHA and BHA acids, they do not sensitize the skin to sunlight, so they can be used year-round. Due to their gentle action, they are often recommended for sensitive skin as an alternative to AHA and BHA acids. Lactic acid: It is one of the main components of the NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor). Therefore, it affects skin hydration and moisture, maintaining the proper moisture level in the epidermis. This action leaves the skin soft, smooth, and radiant. Serum with lactic acid: leaves the skin nourished, deeply moisturized, and additionally gives it a youthful appearance! Serum with lactic acid: Those with combination skin will be delighted with this product. Lactic acid regulates sebum production and effectively moisturizes dry skin. Its ability to reduce wrinkles is also significant.
- Mandelic Acid: Mandelic acid, an AHA acid, is one of the most popular cosmetic acids used in exfoliation treatments. It is valued for its anti-aging, anti-acne, discoloration-brightening, moisturizing, and restoring skin energy and a healthy glow. Mandelic acid has exfoliating, anti-aging, anti-acne, discoloration-brightening, moisturizing, and restoring skin energy and a healthy glow. It is recommended for all skin types.
