SFD Betaine HCL + Pepsin is a dietary supplement containing betaine and the enzyme pepsin, in the form of easy-to-swallow tablets. Betaine hydrochloride with pepsin contains two very important components of the digestive process: hydrochloric acid and pepsin. They are a complex traditionally used to support the release of nutrients from food and to support proper digestion. Betaine is an amino acid, also known as trimethylglycine (TMG) - a derivative of glycine, the simplest protein amino acid. It can be produced in the human body in limited quantities. Pepsin, in turn, is the active form of pepsinogen, an enzyme secreted by the glandular cells of the stomach.
Properties of the ingredients:
- betaine:
- helps maintain proper homocysteine metabolism;
- betaine hydrochloride ensures appropriate acidity of the environment, supporting the digestive process and creates the right conditions for the absorption of nutrients in the intestine and for maintaining a healthy balance of intestinal bacteria;
- a beneficial effect is obtained when consuming 1.5 g of betaine per day. - pepsin:
- partially breaks down proteins in food products,
- also supports the body in metabolizing homocysteine.
Recommended daily intake:
- 1 tablet per day with water,
- do not use on an empty stomach,
- do not exceed the recommended dose for consumption within day,
