Pureo Camphor Essential Oil is a natural oil obtained by steam distillation from camphor wood (Cinnamomum Camphora). White camphor oil has an intense, fresh, woody aroma with distinct notes of eucalyptus due to its high content of natural cineole.
Frequently used in aromatherapy, camphor oil releases a scent that has a positive effect on the respiratory tract, which is why it is an ingredient in many cough and cold products. Camphor oil can also be used to repel insects, particularly flies and moths. It blends well with other oils such as eucalyptus, mint, tea tree, lemon, lavender.
Camphor Oil – properties:
- Camphor oil is used to relieve stress and tension. Its strong, refreshing scent has a relaxing and calming effect. It is known for its expectorant properties, which can help relieve cold-related symptoms. It is a natural insect repellent. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties. It has antibacterial and antiviral properties. It can help improve nervous function, thus supporting memory and concentration. Pureo Camphor Essential Oil – uses: The oil can be used for massage, baths, inhalations, room aromatization, and improving the microclimate of rooms. Can be used in aromatherapy burners.
How to use:
- For aromatherapy massage: add 2-3 drops to 50 ml of carrier oil, e.g. grapeseed oil, olive oil or other massage oil.
- For baths: 3-6 drops to a tub of lukewarm water, preferably in a stream of poured water.
- For aromatization and improving the microclimate of rooms:
- aroma burners: 2-3 drops per water tank
- bowls of boiling water (3-5 drops per liter) - leave in a ventilated room until it stops evaporating.
- humidifiers and atomizers: 3-5 drops per liter of water. - For the sauna: add a few drops to the water and pour over the heated stones.
