PrOVag gel is a specialized medical device intended to support the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections of the external genitalia.
Application:
- PrOVag gel is recommended for women and children prone to dryness of the external genitalia, disturbances of the natural microflora and recurrent inflammations.
- PrOVag gel can be used daily or as needed to:
- support the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections of the intimate areas;
- maintain the balance of the microflora of the intimate areas;
- alleviate the symptoms of bacterial or fungal infections, such as burning, itching and discomfort in the external genitalia;
- maintain the physiological, acidic pH of the intimate areas, which Inhibits the excessive growth of bacteria and fungi - and prophylactically in conditions of increased risk of inflammation in the intimate areas, especially:
- during and after antibiotic treatment (oral or vaginal);
- in situations of difficult hygiene, e.g. when traveling;
- when frequently using a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna;
- after depilation of the intimate areas;
- during menopause, after childbirth, in case of diabetes
How to use:
- Usually, one application of the gel once a day is sufficient.
- If necessary, prOVag gel can be used 2-3 times a day.
- After washing the intimate areas, apply a thin layer of PrOVag gel to the perineum and external genitalia. PrOVag gel should be applied from the front towards the anus.
- PrOVag gel is comfortable to use, does not stain underwear, and the special consistency ensures pleasant and long-lasting moisturization.
Properties:
- Hypoallergenic preparation recommended for people with sensitive skin, prone to allergies, atopy, dryness and irritation in the area of the external genitalia.
- The ingredients of prOVag gel maintain a physiological, acidic pH, thus protecting the microbiological balance of the intimate areas.
- PrOVag gel has an antifungal effect, limiting the growth of Candida albicans, Candida glabrata, and also has an antibacterial effect against the microorganisms most often causing vaginal inflammation, such as: Gardnerella vaginalis, Escherichia coli, Prevotella bivia, Streptococcus agalactiae.
- PrOVag gel is recommended for women and children over 1 year of age susceptible to infections of the intimate areas to support treatment and alleviate the effects of infections.
- The gel reduces the feeling of burning and discomfort, soothes irritations and other symptoms associated with inflammation of the intimate areas, nourishes and moisturizes.
- It is also recommended to use the preparation for daily prevention of bacterial and fungal infections.
- The product has been gynecologically and dermatologically tested in people with a positive history of allergies.
Warnings:
- Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.
- In case of acute vaginal infections, it is recommended to use under medical supervision.
- Due to the lack of appropriate studies, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, use the preparation after consulting a doctor.
- Do not use after the expiry date placed on the packaging.
- Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
- Do not swallow.
- Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children.
- After using the preparation, a momentary slight stinging may occur, which is related to the proper reaction to a decrease in pH.
