What is PiC ThermoDiary Ear?
PIC ThermoDiary Ear is a modern, intelligent, non-contact thermometer for the whole family that will allow you to monitor your body temperature without difficulty.
Thanks to advanced infrared technology and Bluetooth, the thermometer allows you to easily transfer data to the PIC Health Station app on your smartphone.
Now you can freely manage and store measurements, track changes, and monitor your health.
The built-in alarm in the thermometer informs you of elevated body temperature using colored signals and sounds. You can also turn off the sound when measuring the temperature of, for example, a sleeping child, ensuring peace and comfort during measurements.
Application:
- non-contact temperature measurement;
- temperature measurement in small children.
Instructions for use:
1. Press the "ON/MEM" button, the thermometer is ready for use after the icon stops flashing and two short beeps sound;
2. Take the temperature in the ear:
- for children under 2 years of age, gently pull the earlobe back;
- for children over 2 years of age and adults: gently pull the earlobe up and back.
3. Very carefully insert the thermometer probe into the ear. For the most accurate reading, point the thermometer towards the eardrum;
4. Press and hold the "MEASURE" button until a beep sounds;
5. Remove the thermometer probe from the ear and read the temperature reading on the display;
To measure the temperature correctly, it is necessary to place the thermometer correctly.
Before measuring the temperature, make sure that the ear canal is clean and unobstructed. Do not clean your ear just before using the thermometer, as hot or cold water may affect the reading.
The temperature should be measured at least 30 minutes after physical exercise, bathing, or a meal;
Before each use, check that the thermometer probe is clean and not damaged.
How to clean the PIC thermometer safely?
- To clean the thermometer, use a soft cloth dipped in alcohol or another commonly used cleaning agent that will not damage the device;
- The device is not waterproof, do not immerse it in water.
