Pelavo Dry and Wet Cough in the form of syrup protects the mucous membrane. Relieves dry and wet cough. Pelavo Dry and Wet Cough helps relieve cough and burning sensations, and facilitates the removal of excess sputum thanks to the unique composition of polysaccharides contained in plant extracts and the MUCOBARRYL® PLUS complex.
How does Pelavo Dry and Wet Cough work?
- Pelavo Dry and Wet Cough contains plant extracts that help protect the mucous membrane, soothe cough, and facilitate expectoration.
- The polysaccharides contained in the plant extracts and the MUCOBARRYL® PLUS complex form a gel that adheres to the mucous membrane, providing a protective effect and acting as a barrier limiting contact with external irritants and substances.
- Due to their affinity for water, polysaccharides promote the hydration of the mucous membranes and thin the mucus. Additionally, plant extracts soothe both dry and wet coughs.
- Thanks to the honey content, the product has a pleasant taste.
Directions:
- Oral administration.
- Children from 1 to 6 years of age: half a measuring cup (5 ml) 2 times daily.
- Children from 7 to 12 years of age: half a measuring cup (5 ml) up to 4 times daily.
- Adults: 1 measuring cup (10 ml) 2-4 times daily.
- Shake the product well before use.
- Cap the bottle tightly after use.
- The medical device should be used within 2 months of opening.
When should you exercise particular caution when using the Pelavo Dry and Wet Cough medical device?
- The medical device contains glucose and fructose. This is important for patients who monitor their sugar intake.
- In children under 12 years of age, use after consulting a doctor.
- The medical device should not be used in people with limited esophageal patency. In the case of a hiatal hernia, consult a doctor before using the product.
Adverse reactions:
- No adverse reactions to the medical device have been reported when used at recommended doses, except for rare cases of mild and transient flatulence caused by fermentation of polysaccharides in the gastrointestinal tract.
- Do not use the medical device if you are allergic/hypersensitive to the substances it contains.
- Do not use the medical device if you are allergic to bees.
