The Ovarin dietary supplement contains two isomeric forms of inositol (myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol), an active and easily absorbed form of folic acid (calcium L-methylfolate), B vitamins, including vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin, and vitamin D.
Inositol is a vitamin-like substance naturally present in the diet. Its absorption may be affected by poor dietary habits, such as excess coffee, tea, and alcohol, as well as stress, antibiotics, and hormonal contraception.
Folic acid participates in the process of cell division, including egg cells. Vitamin D in the recommended amount [2] participates in the process of cell division. Pantothenic acid contributes to normal energy metabolism, the synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D, and some neurotransmitters, and vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity. Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy metabolism and helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system. Folic acid, vitamin B6 and B12 take part in maintaining the proper metabolism of homocysteine.
