Ottilan Med Ear Drops 15 ml
Ottilan Med is a medical device in the form of ear drops. The preparation relieves the symptoms of otitis externa and supports the treatment of inflammation of the ear canal. Intended for adults and children over 12 months of age.
Ingredient properties:
- the preparation relieves the most common symptoms of otitis externa, such as pain, swelling, itching, a feeling of skin tightness and blocked/impaired hearing,
- glycerol removes excess fluid from the tissues of the ear canal, thus reducing ear pain and swelling and creating a protective barrier,
- silver nanocolloids influence the death of microorganisms,
- copper nanocolloids inhibit the growth of microorganisms.
Recommended daily intake:
- children and adults: administer 1-2 drops of the medical device to the sore ear a maximum of three times a day,
- if there is no improvement within 3 days or if the symptoms worsen, contact a doctor immediately,
- if necessary and only after consulting a doctor, the medical device can be used for a longer period of time time.
Storage conditions:
- the medical device should be kept out of the reach of small children,
- the preparation should be stored at a temperature below 25 ° C,
- protect from light and moisture,
- after first opening the package, the product can be used for no longer than 30 days.
Warnings:
- do not take the medical device if you are allergic to any of its ingredients,
- the preparation is intended for adults and children over 12 months of age,
- pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using the preparation,
- do not use if damage to the eardrum is known or suspected.
- do not use if there is bleeding or discharge from the ear,
- do not use if you experience severe ear pain with hearing impairment,
- do not use in infants under 12 months of age,
/>- Do not use in people who have undergone ear surgery immediately after surgery,
- Do not use in the ear with a hearing aid in place. Ottilan med should be administered approximately one hour before inserting the hearing aid into the external auditory canal.
- If there is no improvement within 3 days or if symptoms worsen, contact a doctor immediately.
- Prolonged pain or swelling may indicate a bacterial or fungal infection, which requires consultation with a doctor and appropriate treatment.
