What are Orsalit Sachets?
Orsalit are electrolytes with a specially prepared composition for children under 6 months of age, including those with allergies. Orsalit is a food for special medical purposes, for dietary management in states of dehydration, especially during diarrhea or vomiting, and in situations where there is a risk of dehydration.
Orsalit Sachets supplements fluids and minerals in the event of water and electrolyte disturbances.
How to use Orsalit?
- the dosage depends on the degree of dehydration and the doctor's recommendations. It is usually recommended to administer 50-100 ml of oral rehydration fluid per kg of body weight in the first 4 hours and an additional 5-10 ml per kg of body weight after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.
- in the later stages of rehydration, it is recommended to administer 5-10 ml of rehydration fluid after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.
Storage:
- Store in a dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children.
Warnings:
- The preparation should not be used by people with intestinal obstruction or hemodynamic shock.
- Orsalit can be used by diabetics, then it is necessary to control blood sugar levels (as recommended by a doctor).
- The product is taken under medical supervision.
- It is not suitable as the sole source of nutrition.
- The product is not intended for parenteral use.
- Store in a dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
- Maintaining good health requires a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
