Orsalit For Adults is a food for special medical purposes, for the dietary management of dehydration, especially during diarrhea or vomiting, and in situations where there is a risk of dehydration. It is an oral rehydration solution with reduced osmolarity and reduced sodium content. It replenishes fluids and minerals in the event of water and electrolyte disturbances. The carefully selected composition ensures that current water and electrolyte losses are replenished in adults.
Directions for use:
Dosage depends on the degree of dehydration and the doctor's recommendations. Typically, it is recommended to administer 50-100 ml of oral rehydration fluid per kg of body weight within the first 4 hours, plus an additional 5-10 ml per kg of body weight after each diarrheal stool or vomiting. In the subsequent rehydration phase, it is recommended to administer 5-10 ml of rehydration fluid after each diarrheal stool or vomiting.
Storage:
- Store in a dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children.
