How does Ocutein Forte work?
- Ocutein Forte contains high-quality cod liver oil with a high content of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). DHA and EPA are highly concentrated in eye cells. DHA contributes to maintaining normal vision. Unfortunately, the human body does not produce DHA and EPA on its own, so they must be supplied with food. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA.
- Carotenoid complex: lutein, zeaxanthin, vitamin A. These substances are carotenoids, which are an important group of antioxidants. Lutein and zeaxanthin accumulate in large quantities in the macula of the retina. These substances absorb blue and UV light, which is harmful to photoreceptors. That's why OCUTEIN FORTE contains vitamin B2 and vitamin A, which help maintain the health of mucous membranes.
