Octenisept Wound Gel 20 Ml
Octenisept gel is a medical device for use on acute skin injuries such as abrasions, cuts, and minor burns, e.g., sunburn. It provides the wound with a moist environment that supports regenerative processes. It accelerates the healing of wounds and burns and reduces the sensation of pain. Octenisept gel is colorless and does not cause burning when applied.
Properties:
creates moist conditions necessary for proper wound healing,
protects the wound against infection.
creates a protective barrier against bacteria, thus protecting against infections and inflammation,
supports and accelerates natural wound healing,
limits scar formation during wound healing,
thanks to the cooling effect, Octenisept gel relieves acute itching.
Indications:
acute skin injuries (e.g. abrasions, cuts, wounds) cuts),
minor first- and second-degree burns (e.g. sunburn)
How to use:
Disinfect the wound.
Apply a thin layer of gel.
If necessary, protect the entire area with a plaster or bandage.
Apply the gel 1-2 times a day until completely healed. Product for external use only.
Contraindications:
Do not use together with wound cleansing soaps, ointments, oils and enzymes, as this may reduce the effectiveness of the gel.
Do not use in combination with PVP-iodine, as this may reduce the effectiveness of PVP-iodine and lead to discoloration. Using it with oily dressings may cause them to dry out and make it more difficult to remove the dressing.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Do not use the product for longer than 2 weeks without medical supervision.
Non-sterile product - do not use on chronic wounds.
Do not use on hyaline cartilage, in the ears or nose.
Do not use for infusion or injection.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not consume.
Keep out of reach of children.
Protect from direct sunlight and frost.
The gel should be used within 12 months of the first use. opening.
