Novama Multicheck Pro+ Uric Acid Test Strips 25 pcs.
Novama Multicheck Pro+ Uric Acid test strips fit the Novama MultiCheck Pro+ series devices. They are used to measure the level of uric acid in capillary blood from the fingertip, performed by healthcare professionals or by the patient themselves. The package contains 25 strips.
Interpretation of test results
- Measuring range: 3-20 mg/dl (0.18-1.19 mmol/l)
- Normal range for a healthy man: 3.4-7.0 mg/dl (0.2-0.42 mmol/l)
- Normal range for a healthy woman (the range is a reference value only): 2.4-6.0 mg/dl (0.14-0.36 mmol/l)
- If the meter displays "Lo", the uric acid level may be below 3 mg/dl (0.18 mmol/l).
- If the meter displays "Hi", the uric acid level may be above 20 mg/dl (1.19 mmol/l).
Accuracy
The uric acid level was measured in capillary blood from a fingertip, and the result was compared with calibrators from reference instruments traceable to the NIST SRM 913 standard.
