What is Nexcare ColdHot Therapy Comfort Gel Compress?
Nexcare Cold Hot Therapy are compresses that can be used cold or hot. They are a solution for people who prefer natural therapy without the use of drugs.
Applications:
- pain and anti-swelling therapy;
- cold helps relieve swelling;
- heat calms and relaxes.
Cold compresses help with tension headaches, fever (not to lower body temperature), severe injuries (bruises, sprains, minor concussions), sprains e.g. of the ankle, knee, elbow, shoulder, or swelling due to an injury/trauma. Hot compresses help with a stiff neck or shoulder, mild inflammation or rheumatic arthritis (e.g., wrist arthritis), feeling cold (as a hot water bottle), lower back pain, menstrual pain, stiff knees or leg muscles, and abdominal pain (only due to muscle tension).
How to use:
Cooling the compress:
Simply place it in the refrigerator or freezer.
Heating the compress:
To heat it, place it in hot water or a microwave. Knead it like dough to distribute the heat evenly.
Always place the gel compress in the provided cover or wrap it in a clean towel before applying it to the body. Keep the compress on for as long as is comfortable. The gel compress should be reheated once it reaches room temperature.
