It is considered (like almond oil) one of the most versatile oils.
The oil is pressed from the pits of the famous Ente plum variety (known as Agen plums when dried), beloved for their extraordinary sweetness and full flavor. The oil's aroma fully reflects this: it smells of intensely sweet marzipan with undertones of dried fruit, smoked plum, and chocolate.
It is classified as a low-comedogenic oil; it does not burden the skin or clog pores.
In cosmetics, it is valued for its high content of unsaturated fatty acids (over 90%) in the form of oleic acid (Omega-9) and linoleic acid (Omega-6), a very large amount of vitamin E, and valuable phytosterols (mainly beta-sitosterol). This makes it one of the best choices for dry and irritated skin, which it soothes, intensively softens, moisturizes, and nourishes.
The most important properties of Gascony plum oil:

- has a regenerating effect,
- nourishes and smooths the skin.
How to use?
The oil is light, rich in texture, absorbs quickly, leaving the skin velvety and smooth, with a delicate film, but without a greasy feeling. It is especially recommended for dry, mature, irritated, and vascular skin.
