Molekin D3 2000 IU Tablets
The preparation contains vitamin D3 at a dose recommended by experts of 2000 IU. The preparation is intended for adults as a daily dietary supplement with vitamin D3. The preparation can be used by diabetics.
The main source of vitamin D3 is skin synthesis under the influence of solar radiation. Unfortunately, due to Poland's geographical location, it is insufficient between September and April. Also in the summer, frequent indoor exposure, the use of sunscreen, and air pollution can significantly limit skin synthesis of vitamin D3. It is also important to remember that in people over 65, the skin synthesis of vitamin D3 is slower.
Vitamin D has many functions in the body, but the most important of them is helping with:
- Proper absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus
- Maintaining the proper level of calcium in the blood
- Maintaining healthy bones and teeth
- Proper muscle function
- Proper functioning of the immune system
Dosage:
1 tablet daily. Wash down with water. Use after meals.
Notes:
To select the appropriate dose of vitamin D supplementation, it is recommended to perform a blood 25-(OH)D test and then consult the results with a doctor or pharmacist.
