Mediheal NMF - Moisturizing and Smoothing Ampoule Face Mask
This mask intensively nourishes mature, dry skin, providing a strong moisturizing and smoothing effect. Main ingredients: Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), sodium hyaluronate, ceramides, allantoin, trehalose. NMF is a substance produced by the skin to maintain proper hydration. It consists of amino acids, urea, lactates, and PGA acid, among others. NMF binds water in the stratum corneum of the skin, giving it a fresh appearance. When NMF is lacking, the skin becomes rough, sags, and wrinkles appear. Sodium hyaluronate is a highly moisturizing ingredient. It creates a film on the skin that limits water evaporation, protecting the skin from drying out. Ceramides create a water-lipid barrier in the epidermis, rebuilding intercellular integrity and preventing water loss from the skin. Allantoin has intensely moisturizing, regenerative, anti-inflammatory, and astringent properties. It smooths and softens the skin. It stimulates cell renewal, restoring a youthful appearance to dull, tired skin. Trehalose is a natural antioxidant, a hydroactive disaccharide obtained from marine algae. It is used in cosmetics as a substance that prevents water loss and maintains the skin's proper moisture level.
The mask is a delicate, cellulose material cut into the shape of the face, with openings for the eyes, mouth, and nose, impregnated with a liquid active ingredient with a slightly gel-like consistency. The mask gently tightens the facial skin for proper, even absorption of ingredients. The Mediheal moisturizing and smoothing ampoule mask has a higher content of liquid active ingredient than standard masks (up to 27 ml). It's so richly saturated that after removing the mask, there's enough liquid left in the sachet to apply to the neck and décolleté. For best results, use the Mediheal mask after an evening bath – warm skin absorbs the active ingredients better, and the damp mask gives your face a pleasant cooling sensation.
