Manuka honey is a homogeneous honey produced exclusively in New Zealand, during the time that coincides with the flowering period of the Manuka bushes, which are produced mainly from the nectar of plants of the Leptospermum scoparium species. The honeys are characterized by the following features: - appropriate range of specific conductivity, unique taste described as mineral, slightly bitter; - strongly aromatic smell with noticeable notes of damp earth and heather; - the presence of pollen typical of Manuka bushes and ingredients, including: methylglyoxal (MGO™) MGO™ is an abbreviation for Methylglyoxal - a natural substance recognized by scientists as a characteristic ingredient of Manuka honey, which, due to its high content, distinguishes it from other honeys available on the market. Honey contains methylglyoxal in amounts above 30 mg/kg (a natural ingredient found in significant amounts only in some Manuka honeys).

Consuming Manuka Honey MGO™ 550+
It is best to consume honey in the morning on an empty stomach, 2-3 teaspoons or 1 teaspoon 2-3 times a day half an hour before a meal.
