The electronic thermometer provides quick and highly precise body temperature measurement for people of all ages.
Possible measurement methods: under the armpit, in the mouth, and rectally. The product is reusable and can be used both at home and in the hospital.
Package Contents: 1 thermometer, 1 instruction manual, 1 plastic case, battery.
Taking a Measurement:
1. Press the on/off button next to the screen. You will hear a beep; after the automatic test temperature is displayed, the thermometer will be in measurement mode. The letter L with a flashing oC or oF indicates readiness for measurement.
2. Place the thermometer in the chosen location (oral cavity, rectum, armpit).
- Oral cavity: Place the thermometer under your tongue, close your mouth, and breathe evenly through your nose so that inhaled and exhaled air does not interfere with the measurement. Normal temperature range is between 35.7 and 37.3°C.
- Rectum: Lubricate the thermometer tip with petroleum jelly to ease insertion. Gently insert the probe approximately 1 cm into the rectum. Normal temperature range is between 36.2 and 37.7°C.
- Cha: Wipe the armpit. Place the probe in your armpit and keep your arm firmly pressed to your side. Normal temperature range is between 35.2 and 36.7°C.
The 3rd degree mark flashes throughout the testing procedure. When the symbol stops flashing, a beep will sound for approximately 10 seconds. At the same time, the reading will be displayed on the screen. It is essential to maintain the minimum measurement time (until the beep sounds). The measurement continues even after the beep is turned off. The displayed temperature will not change if the thermometer is removed from the measurement site.
NOTE: For better body temperature measurement results, after the beep, it is recommended to keep the probe in place for another 2 minutes for oral or rectal measurements, and for another 5 minutes for underarm measurements. A gap of at least 30 seconds should be maintained between measurements.
4. To extend battery life, press the on/off button to turn off the thermometer after each measurement. If the device remains idle for approximately 10 minutes, it will turn off automatically.
5. Store the thermometer in its protective packaging.
The manufacturer recommends checking the thermometer's accuracy at an authorized service center every 2 years.
