Product Description

LabHome Thyro-Check Hypothyroidism Test 1 Piece

LabHome diagnostic tests enable early diagnosis or exclusion of many common diseases in the shortest possible time, ensuring the comfort of testing - independently and without leaving home. Additionally, LabHome tests allow for the assessment of the physiological condition of organs, hormone diagnosis, and detection of fertility problems.

Indications
Blood test for elevated levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), which is a screening test for the assessment of thyroid function. Exceeding the upper limit of the normal range for TSH indicates hypothyroidism.

When is the test performed?
- prevention of hypothyroidism
- weight gain (without changing eating habits) or problems with weight loss
- people at risk (women between 25-55 years of age, young mothers)
- symptoms of hypothyroidism (chronic fatigue, drowsiness, mood disorders)
- problems with the skin (dry, flaky) or hair (brittle, excessive hair loss)
- infertility, anovulatory cycles, heavy periods

Effect:
The test detects elevated levels of the thyroid-stimulating hormone TSH in the blood (above 5 uIU/mL). A TSH level above 5 uIU/mL indicates hypothyroidism, which can cause changes affecting the functioning of the entire body. If you receive a positive result, you must consult a doctor.

How to use:
The test is performed on blood. To do this, obtain a drop of blood from your fingertip (automatic lancing device included), then apply the blood with diluent to the sample window. Wait 10 minutes and read the result. Check if urgent consultation with a doctor is necessary.
