LabHome Meno - Check Menopause Test
LabHome diagnostic tests enable early diagnosis or exclusion of many common diseases in the shortest possible time, ensuring the comfort of testing - independently and without leaving home. Additionally, LabHome tests allow for the assessment of the physiological condition of organs, hormone diagnosis, and detection of fertility problems.
LabHome Men - Check is a test for detecting menopause. The test is a specific, rapid immunodiagnostic test that detects the presence of FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) when its concentration in urine exceeds 25 mIU/L. Hormonal changes most often begin in women after the age of 45, while menopausal symptoms generally appear after the age of 55. Irregular menstrual cycles are a sign of the menopausal transition (also known as climacteric). During menopause, a significant increase in follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels is observed.
How to use:
1. Remove the sealed MENO-Check test pouch from the package. Remove the test from the pouch by tearing it along the edge. Discard the small desiccant sachet.
2. Remove the MENO-Check streaming test cap protecting the urine absorption strip. Turn the test over so that the result window side is facing outward and the absorbent tip is facing downward.
3. Method 1: Immerse the absorbent tip directly in your urine stream for 5-10 seconds. Make sure that no drop of urine enters the test and control area windows.
Method 2: Alternatively, you can urinate into a clean, dry container (not included) and then immerse the absorbent strip in it for 10 seconds, until completely saturated.
4. Place the cap on the tip of the MENO-Check test. The collected urine sample reacts with certain reagents, which starts the test. Start timing from this point.
5. Place the MENO-Check test on a dry, flat surface with the result window facing upwards.
6. Read the result after 10 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 15 minutes.
