LabHome Urine Albumin Test
LabHome M-Albu-Check-1 Strip is a specific, rapid immunodiagnostic test for qualitative confirmation of the presence of albumin in urine. The test allows for the detection of abnormal albumin concentrations in urine (above 10 mg/L).
Under physiological conditions, albumin is absent or detected in urine in trace amounts. High levels of albumin in urine correlate with impaired filtration and suggest renal dysfunction. Abnormal glucose or triglyceride (fat) levels, diabetes, and hypertension are factors that contribute to the excretion of albumin in the urine.
Intended use:
- Medical device for self-testing - detecting albumin in urine
Instructions for use:
- Collect a urine sample into the provided plastic container (the volume of the urine sample should occupy 1 to 1.5 cm of the height of the cup).
- Tear open the aluminum bag along the edge, then carefully remove the test strip by grasping its end handle. Discard the sachet with the desiccant.
- Immerse the strip in the cup containing the urine sample, placing it vertically in the groove designed for this purpose. Hold for 5 to 10 seconds.
NOTE: THE URINE LEVEL MUST NOT EXCEED THE HORIZONTAL BLUE LINE INDICATED ON THE TEST STRIP UNDER THE SMALL ARROW. - Place the strip horizontally on a dry, flat surface to allow the reaction to occur.
- Read the result after 5 to 10 minutes.
Do not interpret the test result after 15 minutes.

Warnings:
- The test is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only. For external use only. Do not swallow.
- Read the instructions for use before performing the test. The test result is only reliable if the instructions are strictly followed.
- Store at a temperature between 4°C and 30°C. Do not freeze.
- Do not use after the expiry date (date stated on the packaging) or if the test packaging is damaged.
- M-Albu-Check-1 Strip is a single-use test.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- All components can be thrown away after use.
