Kinon D3 is a dietary supplement containing vitamin D3 and K2, vitamins essential for proper bone function. Natural vitamin D contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system and protects against acute respiratory infections. Vitamin D modulates the inflammatory response and alleviates the course of infections. 2000 IU of vitamin D is the recommended amount for adults in Central Europe. Because vitamin D stimulates the production of vitamin K-dependent proteins, it is recommended to take these vitamins together to optimize their effects. This is confirmed by studies showing that combining vitamin K with vitamin D gives much better results, for example, in improving bone density, than taking vitamin D alone.
