KeratoStill Eye Drops
KeratoStill eye drops are a medical device used as a moisturizing and soothing agent for irritated eyes.
Application:
A medical device recommended in the case of tear film dysfunction in the treatment of dry eye syndrome symptoms (e.g. burning, irritation, discomfort, foreign body sensation) associated with the action of irritating environmental factors such as dust, smoke, dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms, wind, long-term work at a computer monitor.
Instructions for use:
The preparation is in the form of eye drops for topical application to the conjunctival sac. KeratoStill is used as directed.
Do not exceed the recommended doses, as this will not increase the effectiveness of the preparation and may be harmful to your health and life.
If you have any doubts regarding the use of the preparation, consult a doctor.
Recommended dosage: 1–2 drops in each conjunctival sac once a day or more often, depending on the need.
Wash your hands before applying the preparation. Do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dropper tip. Close the bottle tightly with the cap after each use.
Properties:
KeratoStill eye drops contain hypromellose and dexpanthenol.
Hypromellose is a viscoelastic substance with physicochemical properties that allow it to be used in so-called "artificial tears" preparations. Its aqueous solution is characterized by appropriate viscosity and elasticity, adheres well to the surface of the cornea and ensures its long-lasting hydration.
Dexpanthenol contained in the preparation has a moisturizing effect, has a soothing effect, and supports the regeneration of epithelial damage.
Under physiological conditions, adequate moisture of the corneal surface is ensured by a thin layer of tear fluid adhering to the surface of the eye. If the amount or composition of tear fluid is disturbed, the cornea and conjunctiva dry out, leading to dry eye syndrome and symptoms such as irritation, burning, dryness, a feeling of sand under the eyelids, pain, and photosensitivity.
Warnings:
- Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients;
- Do not use if you have an eye infection;
- If allergic reactions or any other adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor;
- After first opening, the product can be used for no longer than 30 days;
- Do not use the product with contact lenses. After using the product, wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting your lenses.
