What makes Keratosept eye drops unique?
Keratosept is a medical device in the form of eye drops. The preparation is a sterile, colorless hydrogel whose pH, viscosity, and osmolarity are fully compatible with eye tissues and tear fluid, making the drops perfectly tolerated. Thanks to the ingredients they contain, the drops support the reconstruction of the corneal epithelium, damaged by air conditioning, contact lenses, sunlight, or artificial lighting. Keratosept eye drops do not contain quaternary ammonium salts, therefore they can be used by people wearing contact lenses.
Properties of Keratosept drops
- Polyvinyl alcohol, the amount of which contained in the drops is similar to tear fluid, coats, moisturizes, protects the eye and has a viscoelastic and mucoadhesive effect.
- Dexpanthenol, a B vitamin, nourishes the tissues and protects the epithelium.
- Hexamidine diisothionate, polyhexanide hydrochloride, disodium edetate are antimicrobial substances that ensure sterility of the drops after the first opening and protect the eye against irritation and infection.
Instructions for use
- Instill 1-2 drops of the Keratosept medical device into the bag. conjunctival by gently squeezing the bottle.
- The drops can be used 2-3 times a day.
- If necessary, the drops can be used more often.
- Do not touch the surface of the eye with the dropper tip.
Warnings
- Do not use if you have symptoms of an eye infection.
- Do not use simultaneously with other eye drops.
- Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of the drops.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
- After first opening the bottle, do not use for more than 30 days.
Storage method
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children, below 25°C.
