Irigasin Junior Sinus Rinsing Set (12 Sachets + Irrigator)
Irigasin Junior is a medical device intended for preparing a solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses for children from 4 years of age. The set consists of an irrigator in the form of a soft bottle with an ergonomic applicator and 12 sachets.
The preparation allows the preparation of both isotonic and hypertonic solutions, depending on the patient's needs.
Indications for use:
- acute or chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses
- rhinitis in the course of infection or allergy
- before and after surgical procedures on the nose and sinuses
- after contact with high concentrations of dust in the air
- prophylactically to maintain proper hygiene of the nose and sinuses
Irigasin Junior has a moisturizing effect on the nasal mucosa dried out as a result of long-term use of nasal medications or as a result of staying in air-conditioned or excessively heated rooms.
Hypertonic sodium chloride solution, in addition to its cleansing effect, due to the higher concentration of the substance active ingredient, has osmotic properties, thanks to which it reduces swelling of the mucous membrane. It is therefore recommended for nasal swelling associated with rhinitis during infection or allergy (hay fever), as well as sinusitis.
How to use:
Children over 4 years of age:
Rinse the nose and sinuses 1-2 times a day or as directed by a doctor.
Children may only use the product under adult supervision.
Before using the product in children under 4 years of age, consult a doctor.
To prepare an isotonic solution, pour 1 sachet of powder into the bottle and then fill it up to the marked line (120 ml) with boiled, cooled water.
To prepare a hypertonic solution, pour 2 sachets of powder into the bottle and then fill it up to the marked line (120 ml) with boiled, cooled water.
Notes on Directions for use:
- Only use the bottle included in the package for rinsing.
- Do not use if the bottle is damaged.
- Prepare a fresh solution for each rinse.
Do not use if you are hypersensitive to sodium chloride. If symptoms accompanying rhinitis or sinusitis worsen, consult a doctor. Do not use if your nose is completely blocked, preventing the solution from exiting. Do not use if your ear is infected or feels blocked. If you have had ear surgery, consult a doctor before use. After irrigation, a slight leakage of residual solution from the nose may occur when bending over. Do not use later than one hour before bedtime. Immediately after irrigation, the child should not lie down for one hour to prevent any residual solution from getting into the ear. Children may use the product independently only under adult supervision. Consult a doctor before use in children under 4 years of age.
