Hylo Comod®Eye Drops 10 ml
Improves the hydration of the eyeball in case of dryness caused by the negative influence of the surrounding environment, causing disorders such as dry eye, the sensation of a foreign body in the eye, burning eyes, as well as after eye surgery.
Sterile eye drops without preservatives and phosphates.
HYLO COMOD® is a sterile solution of sodium hyaluronate with a concentration of 1 mg/ml. It also contains a citrate buffer, sorbitol, and water.
HYLOCOMOD® improves eye hydration in cases of dryness caused by the negative influence of the surrounding environment, causing disorders such as dry eye, the sensation of a foreign body in the eye, burning eyes, as well as after eye surgery.
If your eyes itch, burn, tire easily, or you feel as if there was sand under the eyelids, the cause may be insufficient hydration of the eye surface.
When you spend long periods of time in air-conditioned rooms or work intensively in front of a computer screen, the tear film breaks down more quickly. However, to ensure proper eye function, continuous hydration through tears is necessary.
Surgery or eye injuries may reduce tear secretion. However, the proper regeneration process of the eye's surface structures requires constant, sufficient hydration.
By using HYLOCOMOD®, the cornea and conjunctiva of the eye are long-lastingly moisturized, supplied with a long-lasting, appropriate amount of moisture, which allows the physiological healing processes to proceed optimally.
HYLOCOMOD® contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural physiological substance found both in the eye and in other parts of the human body. Sodium hyaluronate has the unique physical properties of creating an even, moisturizing, stable, difficult-to-wash, and long-lasting film on the eye's surface, protecting against irritation and dryness. These properties are especially important for people wearing contact lenses, as these lenses are well tolerated only when they "float" in a sufficient amount of tear secretion. HYLOCOMOD® can be used when wearing contact lenses.
HYLOCOMOD® makes wearing hard and soft contact lenses more pleasant and easier, without causing deposits or build-up.
HYLOCOMOD® does not contain preservatives and is therefore usually very well tolerated. It also does not contain phosphates, which helps avoid the risk of deposits forming in the cornea.
Notes:
- Do not store above 25˚C.
- After first opening the immediate packaging, the preparation is suitable for use for 6 months.
- Do not use after the expiry date.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
Warnings
- If you are using other ophthalmic medications, at least 30 minutes must pass before applying Hylo-Comod, and it should be administered last.
- Eye ointments should always be used after applying Hylo-Comod.
- In very rare, isolated cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as burning and tearing of the eyes have been reported, which disappeared immediately after discontinuing the preparation.
