What is HydroClean Solution?
HydroClean Solution is a solution designed specifically for cleansing, rinsing, moisturizing and caring for acute, chronic and infected wounds, as well as first and second degree burns.
Application:
- Cleaning and rinsing wounds, burns and other skin lesions.
Properties:
- Effectively mechanically cleanses wounds and the skin around them,
- Removes impurities, moist necrotic tissue, dead tissue and biofilm,
- Highly effective against multidrug-resistant pathogens (MRSA, VRE) and fungi (C. albicans),
- Does not inhibit the granulation or epithelialization process,
- Demonstrates high biocompatibility, can be used in long-term treatment, well tolerated by people suffering from allergies and by diabetics,
- Easy and painless cleansing.
How to use:
- Wound cleansing:
The wound and surrounding area should be thoroughly cleansed with HydroClean Solution. For optimal wound cleansing, it is recommended to moisten the wound with deep and intensely necrotic tissue for at least 10-15 minutes using a fully moistened compress (wet dressing application). Application can be repeated, depending on the wound conditions, without time limits.
Do not dilute the solution! - Use with dressings and bandages:
Thoroughly moisten dressings and bandages adjacent to the wound surface with HydroClean Solution, wait approximately 5-10 minutes for softening, and carefully remove them from the wound. To maintain a moist wound environment, the dressing can be changed daily (even several times a day if necessary). HydroClean Solution is compatible with all modern wound dressings. - Catheter Care:
To prevent possible infections, regularly clean the inlet ports and flexible connectors of the catheter and its surrounding area with HydroClean Solution. Spray the area from a short distance and wait approximately 1-5 minutes. The product's ingredients are particularly gentle on mucous membranes, cleansing the catheter and PEG material without damaging it. As with wound care, soiled and adherent plasters can be easily removed after moistening with HydroClean Solution.
Storage conditions:
- Store in a cool, dry and frost-free place.
- Once opened, use within 8 weeks.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not use if the package has been previously opened or damaged.
Warnings and precautions:
- Do not use the medical device:
- on hyaline cartilage and in aseptic surgical procedures, in the middle and inner ear, and in the eye;
- if the patient is known or suspected to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients;
- in procedures involving the central nervous system or meninges.
- together with anionic surfactants active substances, cleansing soaps, creams, oils, enzymes, etc. These substances should be completely removed from the wound surface before using the product;
- for rinsing and washing the peritoneum. - It should not be used in patients in the first four months of pregnancy. Depending on the risk-benefit assessment, its use in the later stages of pregnancy should be assessed in accordance with the doctor's recommendations.
- Do not use if you are allergic to polihexanide or other ingredients of the solution.
- For external use only.
- Do not use for injection or infusion purposes.
- Before use, read the instructions for use or the label.
- During pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using the medical device.
