HERMES Terre D'Hermes is an eau de toilette for men that debuted in 2006. This woody-herbal fragrance was created by Jean-Claude Ellena – considered one of the greatest living perfumers. He is the father of, among others, Eau de Campagne for Sisley, Cartier Déclaration, and Rose Poivrée by The Different Company. However, it was Terre d'Hermès that brought him the greatest fame.

The beginning, or top note, of Terre d'Hermès is primarily grapefruit accompanied by stones. The heart accord is a combination of geranium and pepper. The base notes include green vetiver, cedarwood, and benzoin. The fragrance won the FiFI Award Fragrance Of The Year Men's Luxe 2007 – the history of this event dates back to 1973 and is called the "Oscars of the perfume industry."
