Help4skin Burn Healing Gel 75 g
Help4skin Burn Healing is a hydrocolloid gel used to treat burns and wounds. The preparation protects the wound against the growth of microorganisms and regulates wound moisture, thus accelerating the healing process. Additionally, it cools and soothes the burned area. The preparation can be used on children over 2 years of age.
Indications:
- burns,
- sunburn,
- abrasions and cracks in the skin,
- wounds.
How to use:
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using the preparation. The method of use depends on the type of wound.
Superficial burns:
- immediately after a burn occurs, cool the burned area under lukewarm, running water for 20 minutes. This should be done as soon as possible, as the beneficial cooling effect of the burned area diminishes over time and disappears completely 30 minutes after the burn. Do not use cold water to prevent hypothermia,
- apply a thin layer of the preparation 1-2 times a day, without touching the wound with the applicator tip,
- do not rub the gel in,
- apply a dressing and replace it after each use of the preparation.
Sunburn:
- clean the burned area,
- apply a thin layer of the preparation 1-2 times a day, without touching the wound with the applicator tip,
- do not rub the gel in,
- if necessary, apply a sterile dressing.
Minor wounds:
- clean and disinfect the wound,
- dry with sterile gauze, if necessary,
- apply the preparation 1-2 times a day and, if necessary, apply a sterile dressing,
/>- a new dressing should be applied after each application of the preparation.
Notes:
- should not be used on large abrasions, i.e. an area larger than 20 cm2,
- do not use on the face, eyes, eyelids or mucous membranes.
