Geek & Gorgeous aPAD - Brightening Face Serum
An exceptionally light aqueous serum containing azeloglycine (an azelaic acid derivative) at a concentration of up to 6%. Suitable for all skin types, especially problematic skin types that need to even out skin tone, regulate sebum secretion, and those affected by discoloration.
Azelaic acid is a substance known and appreciated primarily for its effectiveness in reducing discoloration. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces skin redness. Very good results are also noted in reducing excessive sebum secretion. However, it also has an irritating effect.
The aPAD formula uses a derivative of azelaic acid, a new-generation compound: azeloyl glycinate (Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate). Combining azelaic acid with glycine allows for the creation of an active ingredient (azeloyl glycine) that dissolves in water. This allows for a light, oil-free, and effective product. Enriching it with glycerin and allantoin means that, in addition to its brightening and sebum-reducing properties, it also has moisturizing and soothing properties.
