FLEXUS FLUID synovial fluid supplement is a product available in glass syringes containing hyaluronic acid. The product is a transparent, clear, viscous, sterile, and non-pyrogenic solution. Hyaluronic acid (molecular weight 650,000~1,200,000 Da) is obtained from microorganisms. This product is intended for single use. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide, an important structural component of the skin, subcutaneous, and connective tissue found in synovial fluid. Hyaluronic acid is identical in all living organisms and highly biocompatible. Each ml of the product contains 10 mg of sodium hyaluronate dissolved in saline.
Directions for use:
In adult patients with osteoarthritis, use 1 syringe of the product per week, 3 syringes throughout the course of therapy. The product is administered by injection into the joint. The dosage and injection time depend on the symptoms. The expected duration of effectiveness is at least 6 months after use. The product should be injected using a 21-25 G needle inserted into the joint cavity.
Ingredients:
- Active substance: 25 mg sodium hyaluronate
- Additional substances: disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, purified water for injection up to 2.5 ml, pH 6.8~7.8.
Manufacturer's warnings:
The product is intended for administration only by authorized medical personnel, in accordance with local law. Do not twist the plunger to prevent product leakage and to avoid damage to the stopper, which increases the extrusion force. The syringe, needle and other unused materials should be disposed of immediately after use. If the packaging is damaged, do not use the product. Read the instructions before use.
Contraindications:
Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid preparations. Injections into the joint cavity are contraindicated in the case of current or past infections or skin diseases in the injection area.
