What is Fertil Count II Male Fertility Test?
Fertil Count is a diagnostic test for detecting possible infertility in men.
A spermogram test, also called the FertilCount test, allows for an initial assessment of semen quality and checks whether it is good enough to fertilize an egg and enable pregnancy. The test analyzes the number of sperm needed to fertilize an egg. It is a helpful tool in diagnosing male infertility.
Application:
- detecting infertility in men;
- planning a pregnancy.
How to use:
- a sperm sample is collected for testing between days 3 and 7 after the last ejaculation;
- after 5 minutes, apply the semen sample with the cassette test reagent according to the enclosed instructions;
- read according to the instructions.
The FertilCount test should be performed on at least two separate semen samples. The second sample should be collected and tested at least 3 days after the first test, but no later than 7 days after the first test. Performing two tests and obtaining the same result each time (positive or negative) will ensure greater certainty of the result.
