Equazen Chewable Capsules
EQUAZEN dietary supplement is a unique combination of essential, polyunsaturated omega-3 (EPA, DHA) and omega-6 (GLA) fatty acids. The specific proportions of ingredients and special production technology meant that EQUAZEN was selected for testing in a series of clinical trials conducted on large groups of children.
These trials were conducted in Australia, Great Britain, and Sweden, among others, in children and adolescents with problems with attention span, hyperactivity, delayed development of reading, writing, and other school skills, inappropriate behavior (including aggression), and in the youngest with delayed speech development. EQUAZEN has been available in Poland since 2006, enjoying a very good reputation not only among parents but also specialists, who recommend its use in children based on research results published in the scientific literature and positive experience from their own practice. The preparation comes in the form of chewable capsules. Strawberry flavor.
Recommended daily intake:
For the first 3 months, 6 capsules daily (e.g., 2 x 3 capsules) with meals are recommended to maintain the body's saturation. After 3 months, the dose can be reduced to 2 capsules to maintain the effect. The contents of the capsules can be administered after mixing, for example, with dairy meals, e.g., cheese or yogurt.
Ingredients:
Daily maintenance portion (2 capsules) contains: fish oil (omega-3) 800 mg, EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) 186 mg, DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) 58 mg, evening primrose oil (omega-6), GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) 20 mg, antioxidant: D-alpha tocopherol 3.6 mg.
The source of omega-3 and omega-6 acids are natural oils from small ocean fish and evening primrose. Unlike many other products, EQUAZEN does not contain vitamin additives (e.g. A, D), so it can be administered long-term. It is also free from sugar, artificial colors, gluten, and preservatives.
