These are medical devices that constitute the first line of therapy in the treatment, alleviation and prevention of the occurrence of the exacerbation phase of atopic dermatitis (AD). The innovative BIOMSKIN™ ingredient complex, which forms the basis of dermatologically advanced formulas, was created for patients with frequent exacerbations associated with excessive skin colonization by Staphylococcus aureus, typical of atopic dermatitis.
BIOMSKIN™ has a triple barrier effect:
- relieves local inflammation, most often caused by Staphylococcus aureus
- supports the balance of the natural epidermal microbiota
- prevents secondary infections and frequent recurrence of skin reactions by creating a mechanical barrier on the skin surface, preventing inflammation often caused by Staphylococcus aureus
Indications:
The balm is indicated for use to relieve the symptoms of atopic dermatitis (AD), characterized by, among others, Redness and the presence of inflammatory lesions (often associated with excessive colonization of the affected skin with Staphylococcus aureus). Also recommended for people with chronic atopic dermatitis (thickened, dry, often flaking skin). The product is indicated for daily use. It can be used long-term. Recommended for adults and children from 4 months of age.
Effect:
The product has a soothing effect, reducing the severity of existing symptoms (redness, burning, and persistent itching) in atopic dermatitis. It reduces the occurrence of skin reactions in the treatment of atopic dermatitis flares. The balm relieves symptoms resulting from excessive dryness, such as roughness and flaking. It reduces the risk of inflammation in patients with chronic atopic dermatitis by restoring the barrier function of the epidermis. It contains ceramides, which further strengthen the barrier function, protecting against the harmful effects of allergens and microorganisms and preventing irritation. Humectants in the formula bind water molecules, moisturizing the skin. Regular use creates the right conditions for the epidermal regeneration process in affected skin, allowing for longer periods of disease remission.
How to use Emotopic Bacteria Control Medical Body Balm?
For daily use on the entire body, 1-2 times a day. Do not use on the face. Apply the balm to cleansed and dry skin and spread gently. It is recommended to use the product after each wash. For continuous, alternating, or proactive therapy, as recommended by a physician.
The product can be used by patients at home and in healthcare facilities. For external use only.
